A lot of people don’t know that there are substantial protections for a whistleblower coming forward to a lawyer.
You need reasonable grounds to suspect misconduct at the company you are making a disclosure about to enjoy the protections under the Corporations Act.
Your relationship can be as an employee or officer of the company or even just a person who supplied goods and services.
