After all that’s what I did for most of my career, as a legally trained professional I loved getting commercial insurance claims paid as a broker.
Broker’s bring leverage, lawyers bring proceedings. It shouldn’t have to get that far but sometimes it does!
But what happens when there’s no broker at all? Like for most Australians with home insurance?
Over the last 18 months I’ve seen a wave of domestic home insurance claims delayed, denied, or buried under questionable reports.
For businesses, we step in on the tough PI, D&O and complex commercial claims – but for everyday Australians, the gap is huge. I help with these claims, but the lawyer cost model and Court process is often not what they need.
